People I Like…hmmmmmmmmmm…that's really a bit trite because I can honestly say that some of the folks and organizations on this list literally pieced my post-menopausal body back together while others have impacted my life more profoundly than I can probably express in words! How about we just say that I guarantee all of the folks on this page will be REALLY helpful resources for living your “Sculpted” life and many of them will simply bring you joy.
Gandhi once said "Be the change you wish to see in the world." Sounds like a ridiculously easy solution to a LOT of problems, right? Well I'm here to tell you from personal experience that if you want to set the world on fire by first setting YOURSELF on fire, Landmark Education is the absolute quickest avenue!!! But let me explain: long before I was introduced to Landmark I was completely committed to personal transformation (if you have any doubts about that please read Jessica's Story or JUST CALL ME...there's a lot more that happened BEFORE my "epiphany" that speaks to the person and the way of being I've been striving towards for a very long time!) but participating in Landmark Education has given me access to a whole different understanding of how I've been occurring in the world and how I WANT to occur in the world in a fraction of the time it would've taken me to get to this place on my own! And for me the transformation has been a lot like an easy ripple effect: it started with a huge shift in my relationship WITH MYSELF, then spread to my relationships with family members, then my close friends, then my casual acquaintances, and has even shifted the ways I interact with folks I just meet on the street, and so on. In the last few years I've even experienced a PROFOUND shift in my professional goal; I'm now standing firmly in the possibility of causing a GLOBAL shift in the way we all define the words health &wellbeing and I'm 100% convicted that Landmark Education had quite a great deal to do with that shift. If you're ready for a lightening-speed transformation in the ways you think and act, click on the following link:
The only “supplement” that’s regulated by the USDA because it’s nothing more than dehydrated produce, Juice Plus is THE NEXT BEST THING to whole vegetables and fruits…if any of my clients either can’t or won’t eat their REQUIRED 9-11 servings of fresh whole vegetables and fruits every day, Juice Plus is their ONLY option!
Dr. Tamara Blossic - Hockessin Chiropractic Centre
One of Delaware’s few IFM Certified Functional Medicine Practitioners where we “look upstream” to consider the complex web of interactions in the patient's history, physiology, and lifestyle that can lead to illness. The unique genetic makeup of each patient is considered, along with both internal (mind, body, spirit) and external (physical/social environment) factors that affect total functioning. In addition to Chiropractic, HCC also offers Diet Analysis & Nutritional Counseling, Personal Training, Functional Movement Analysis, T’ai Chi Chih Moving Meditation, Acupuncture, Therapeutic Massage, Swedish Massage, CranioSacral Therapy, MyoFascial Release, Visceral Manipulation, Rossiter, Reiki, Acupressure and Low Level Laser.
I first met DDR (or even "Dr T'ai Chi" as many people refer to him) in 2011 when I enrolled in his Holistic Health Coaching Certification (which I believe was the one and only time he ever taught the program… back then I didn't know thing one about relaxation but my completely-devoted-to-karate ego couldn't resist the opportunity to be trained IN ANYTHING by the world record holder in T'ai Chi forms competition!) So when DDR showed up unexpectedly at our 2019 International T'ai Chi Chih Teacher's Conference, asking us all to consider joining the network of T'ai Chi teachers he was assembling in order to fulfill a government contract he'd recently been awarded to teach T'ai Chi to Veterans FOR FREE, I was one of the first in the room to stand up and say "COUNT ME IN! Where do I sign?" Not only had I always wanted to teach TCC at the VA (up until that point I'd made a couple of unsuccessful attempts) but to particpate in the amazing undertaking DDR had taken on gave me chills just thinking about it…I couldn't imagine a more appropriate portal into causing the GLOBAL shift I've always dreamed of re the ways we all define the words health &wellbeing! The Free T'ai Chi for Veterans program is very much in it's natal stages (and there are about a jillion wrinkles which need serious ironing!) but I'm still 100% sure you'd better buckle your seatbelts, folks…an unimaginably wild ride is almost certainly ahead (for all of us!!!)
Beth J. Keil, RN, BCH - Hypnosis Services of Delaware - Hypnotist, MindSet Coach, and Consultant
I hired Beth in 2006 to help shed some light on my almost lifelong history of compulsive overeating…although I was already a Personal Trainer, a Nutritional Counselor, lean, and fit, I was still occasionally at the mercy of some very old “habit energies.” Beth has had a HUGE impact on my on-going road towards health (just as I have with her journey). She assists clients to shed the limiting thoughts and feelings that keep them stuck whether it’s their weight, smoking, bad habits, feelings of anxiousness or sadness, as well as fears. What's really exciting is she does this work virtually (ie/ Skype or FaceTime) so you can live anywhere in the world and work with her! She offers a complimentary phone consultation to answer all your questions which you can schedule online for your convenience – just go to her website to do just that!
Michael Greger, MD - NUTRITIONFACTS.org
Did you know there are diets proven to not only prevent and treat but reverse our #1 killer, heart disease, along with other deadly diseases such as type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure? Yet most doctors get little if any formal nutrition training in medical school, graduating without some of the most powerful tools available to stop the chronic diseases that remain our leading causes of death and disability. Worse, individuals who want to make good dietary choices for themselves and their families are faced with a deluge of confusing and conflicting nutritional advice. Launched with seed money and support by the Jesse & Julie Rasch Foundation, NUTRITIONFACTS.org is a strictly non-commercial, 501c3 nonprofit charity, science-based public service providing free updates on the latest in nutrition research. This website presents only the results of the latest peer-reviewed nutrition and health research, presented in a way that is easy to understand; check out the hundreds of bite-sized videos on more than a thousand topics, with new videos and articles uploaded every day!

With a BS in Chemistry & Biology and an MS in Exercise Science, Joe’s a self-proclaimed “research geek” but he’s also HANDS DOWN the one person to turn to for info on any supplement, high quality research on any health related topic, becoming a QUALIFIED personal trainer (not just a certified one), and running a successful Personal Training business. He’s a senior faculty member of AAAI/ISMA, has appeared on Fox News, has been a content consultant for Dateline NBC, authored several books, and written articles for several magazines. April Leffler, MA
His Holiness the XIVth Dalai Lama has often been heard to say that world peace relies on individuals finding inner peace. At first glance that concept may seem too simple yet when you think about it, how can one feel anything but empathy for another when one is completely at peace with him or herself? April Leffler has possibly been my most influential mentor because she introduced me to and subsequently taught me to teach T’ai Chi Chih. And frankly I don’t know anyone else who’s more committed to helping others find inner peace. April has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and has worked as a psychotherapist, caseworker, training coordinator and/or behavioral consultant for Community Mental Health Centers from 1984-2014. Her deep respect for the power of the human spirit and the ability for each of us to awaken and embrace our intrinsic value and self worth has caused her to focus exclusively on deeper mind-body-spirit connections in her private practice since 1996. As a Reiki Master/Teacher, an Accredited T’ai Chi Chih® Instructor, a Shamanic Practitioner and member of The Foundation for Shamanic Studies, April has worked with individuals whose life experiences have ranged from being physically, emotionally and sexually abused, to those who just want to relax, unwind and reduce stress in their lives. April has also helped individuals create clarity out of confusion in order for them to find meaning and purpose in life. If you can’t seem to get over past trauma no matter what you try or simply wish to get quiet enough to focus internally on that still, small, wise voice inside, get in touch with April.
I’m sure it seems obvious why Pat Croce would be on my list: former owner of one of the most successful Physical Therapy franchises in the country, former owner of the Philadelphia 76ers, 4th degree Black Belt, best-selling author, and one of the most magnetic and popular motivational speakers in America but I’m a bit ashamed to say that truthfully I never paid much attention to his comings and goings until just a few years ago when he suddenly became completely committed to Mindfulness just after turning 60.
Flash forward to about a year and a half ago when I learned he was in the process of donating $250,000 to West Chester University in order to help found the school’s new Center for Contemplative Studies and suddenly Pat skyrocketed right to the top of my list! Ever since the Center opened I’ve been pow-wowing with other local T’ai Chi Chih Instructors on ways to get TCC added to the WCU CCS curriculum (with no success) but when I heard Pat was coming to town to speak at the Center I decided to email him asking for assistance creating at least a brief live conversation between myself and the Deans of the Center…low and behold I found myself in the midst of a several-days-long e-dialog with Pat and was subsequently honored to not just meet but speak with him (AND the CCS Deans…BONUS!!!) after his presentation at WCU.
I must admit "comparing notes" with Pat about the true meaning of the word "health" will always be a high point to me…perhaps the universe gifted him with such wild success during the first two thirds of his life in order to shine not just a spotlight BUT A BEACON on the importance of the METAphysical aspects of health???!!! Only time will tell :o)
Michelle's passionate mission is to provide help, support, and encouragement for families that have a desire to create healthier lives and her "Fit Fam Meal Plan" may be the easiest, most cost-effective tool I've ever encountered for creating amazing family meals while remaining fully engaged in today's busy world. I recommend this program to LOTS of my clients and no one has ever been disappointed . . . check out the details here.

Jennifer Baust, RN, L.Ac
Jennifer began her career as an Orthopedic Nurse but left the Western Medical model behind when she earned a Masters degree in Acupuncture before going on to be nationally board certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine from the NCCAOM. She also holds the status of Diplomat of Oriental Medicine. As a traditional Five Element Acupuncturist (a tradition that treats a person from a holistic model and does not focus on specific symptoms), Jennifer focuses on the whole person (body, mind, and spirit) instead of focusing solely on symptoms. Acupuncture in general focuses on the elemental, or root cause of symptoms, thus allowing long lasting and often permanent relief.
Anne Duch, MPT, WCS, RYT - Physical Therapy for Women, LLC
I met Anne in 2008 shortly after she left Christiana Care Physical Therapy Plus (where she’d worked for over 11 years) to open her private practice. Although Anne’s reputation within her area of expertise is unparalleled, and I’ve referred clients to her liberally for years, I never utilized her services personally until a couple of years ago when I began suffering from a number of symptoms often associated with menopause (enough said!) Turns out an old karate injury to my left hip was mimicking a weak pelvic floor and just few simple adjustments made a world of difference for me! Anne’s also a certified Healthy Moms™ exercise instructor, showing pregnant moms-to-be how to strengthen and tone their bodies in order to experience easier pregnancies, simpler births, and speedier postpartum recoveries. Have you ever experienced “accidents” when you laugh, cough, or sneeze? Do you find yourself using the bathroom more than 5 times a day or have to get up several times at night? Are you experiencing painful intercourse? Don’t just learn to live with these and other changes that often occur throughout a woman’s life …HIRE ANNE!

Valerie Milito Furlan - Lasting Beauty Permanent Cosmetics
Most of you know I have more hair on my head than an entire village of women but when my thryroid started acting wonky during menopause I suddenly began losing my eyebrows! Valerie has been a cosmetologist since 1982. She received her certification in Permanent Cosmetics in Scottsdale, AZ and completed advanced clinical studies in San Antonio, TX. While Valerie is a master of a broad range of methods, she is recognized as particularly artistic, especially in the creation of beauty enhancing eyebrows, eyeliner and lip color, and been featured on Fox's Good Day Philadelphia and WB17's News at 10. Valerie is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Micropigmentation and has been a member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetics Professionals since 1999.
David Parrish, PhD - Media Psychological Associates
You’ve all heard me talking about my menopause journey (which has definitely been an unexpected challenge), but a few years ago when my immune system suddenly began attacking my thyroid, I REALLY was feeling pretty poorly most of the time (thank goodness I already had a relatively healthy lifestyle in place when the stuff hit the fan or I would’ve been up a SERIOUS creek without a paddle!!!)
And even after seeking advice from Dr Tamara Blossic (the wonderful Functional Medicine practitioner I work for…check out her info above) I still had a few lingering symptoms that simply wouldn’t give up the ghost so I began wondering if there was a psychological component at play and booked a consult with my good friend and fellow T’ai Chi Chih Instructor Dr David Parrish. But when I told him what was going on and asked if he thought I needed counseling he surprised the heck out me by responding “you don’t need counseling, Jess…you need mindfulness.” "But I’m a T’ai Chi Chih instructor, David!” I fired back (remember that T’ai Chi Chih is just one of many evidence-based mindfulness practices.) He went on to explain that in his experience, developing a daily seated mindfulness practice would probably help me feel better faster by literally rewiring my brain, my old ways of thinking and, more importantly, the ways I’ve not just been behaving but BEING for most of my life. “WOW” I said, “sign me up!”
Long story short, David has indeed helped me feel better faster than I ever imagined (and although I do still have just a couple remaining symptoms, I really don’t give a darn about them most of the time…THAT’S STILL A WIN IN MY BOOK!)
David is completely committed to serving people…he’s worked with an extremely diverse clientele in a variety of settings for over twenty-five years providing treatment and training. He’s a former prison warden, a faculty member for the Engaged Mindfulness Institute, an adjunct faculty member with The College of New Jersey, and a published author. David’s approach is based on the fact that in essence people are naturally powerful, complete, and effective. These days his primary methodology (coaching a variety of mindfulness and "direct seeing" practices) simply brings this principle to the forefront for each client by enabling them to re-establish their own authentic way of being…for me, working with David has definitely been an unexpected pleasure!

FaeMoon Wolf Designs
When was the last time your feet actually touched the ground? Remember that the Earth contains a natural, subtle electric charge almost like a gigantic battery…for safety and stability, most everything electrical from the large scale power plant to your blowdryer needs to be connected to it; that’s what the term “grounded” means.
But being grounded is also important for people…when you’re electrically grounded, you feel stronger, more balanced, less stressed, etc. In other words, you feel good and if you have pain, you have less of it. And all it takes to ground yourself or reconnect with your electrical roots so to speak (many people call this process “earthing”) is a half-hour per day of sitting, standing, or walking on soil, grass, sand, or concrete either barefoot or in leather-soled footwear but there’s the problem…when was the last time you purchased (or even SAW) a pair of shoes with leather soles???
A few years ago when I developed a thyroid condition I began to get really serious about earthing so I practice T’ai Chi Chih barefoot outside as often as possible. My funky thyroid has also made me a little sensitive to cold, though, so in fall, early spring, and even a few warm winter days I can easily still go essentially “barefoot” while staying perfectly warm and dry in my BEAUTIFUL handcrafted leather moccasins custom made just for me by Crowwolf and Katy (and they were much less expensive than most athletic and women’s dress shoes!) Crowwolf has been making moccasins for over 20 years…he and Katy both work personally and directly with each customer. All of their moccasins are handcrafted without machining: every pair is hand sewn with needle and sinew using only the best wild elk and buffalo hides. Customers are encouraged to send not just measurements but exact tracings of both feet so each pair will fit perfectly, look great, and last a long time even with daily wear. For more info visit their Etsy or like them on Facebook.
