Do you TRULY embrace your own innate brilliance, power, health, and joy?

May 14, 2017

My good friend and colleague Beth Keil and I will be teaching together again for the first time in a couple of years on June 7th! I added the exclamation point because I’m truly excited to work and teach with Beth again…not only are we very close friends AND EACH OTHER’S CLIENTS (we’ve each had HUGE impacts on our on-going journeys towards optimum health) but because our areas of expertise overlap quite a bit we have even more to offer together than apart! Here are just some of the topics we’ll be touching on:

  • Have you ever stopped to notice how you talk to yourself? Believe it or not, our “self-talk” (ie what we think about ourselves, what we think we can or can’t do, etc) has a LOT to do with how we see things and therefore influences almost everything we do or say as well! I’ll give you a for instance: when I was little my grandmother lived with us…she was my best friend and most treasured confidant so I’d tell her EVERYTHING! And whenever I’d say “Oh I just wish I could (fill in the blank)” she’d always respond “Oh I just wish you’d take stupid pills!” in other words: we surprise ourselves BIG TIME if we stop thinking about what we can and cannot do and just go for it. Kind of makes you say “Hmmmmmm” doesn’t it?
  • Core exercise, core strength, yada, yada, yada…what the heck is the "core" anyway (and why you should even care???) My good friend Anne Duch (one of the best Pelvic Floor Physical Therapists AT LEAST in the tri-state area…read more about her here) describes the core as “everything between your nipples and your knees”…don’t you just love it!? But it does give you a much bigger idea of how important the core is and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the French word for core is “coeur” which actually means “heart”…effectively our core is at the heart of ALL exercise and taking care of the core means we’re taking care of almost all of our most vital organs as well. At the workshop we’ll talk more about all this plus I’ll show you a couple of awesome tricks for both engaging and strengthening the core.
  • And are you sick of taking pills? Do you wonder if half the pills you’re taking either antidote the other pills or cause more side-effects than they’re worth? Or do you simply not feel your best some (or even ALL) of the time? Now I know I sound like a crazy conspiracy theorist whenever begin to spout off about the state of America’s health and healthcare system (and don’t get me wrong, under certain circumstances I’m TRULY grateful both for modern medicine and to be a US citizen!!!) but I honestly wonder sometimes what would happen to the American economy if everyone suddenly got and stayed well!? ALL THAT BEING SAID, come to our workshop and learn more about using FOOD as medicine.
  • And what about that good ‘ole "monkey mind" (as the Zen Buddhists say)? And don’t be too hard on yourself if you, like most people, have a particularly talkative little creature in your head…although I’m an Accredited T’ai Chi Chih Instructor my little chatterbox ALMOST NEVER really shuts up (sometimes I even have thoughts about my thoughts!!!) But seriously, one of the things all of the healthiest cultures in the world have in common is an understanding that a bit of mental peace and quiet on  daily basis is absolutely VITAL to both health and happiness (which, of course, have a great deal to do with one another, right?) Come to our workshop and learn more about why giving that little guy a banana is so important (and EASY ways to do it!)

So have I given you enough reasons not to miss this dynamic seminar? Well here’s one more just in case: IT’S FREE!!!

Remember the human body has an almost infinite capacity for returning to its innate balance of brilliance, power, health, and joy…come and explore a few simple AND FUN ways to do so with me and Beth. Still have questions? Click here for more info and looking forward to seeing you there!
