Being overweight (or having too much bodyfat which is what we really mean most of the time we say someone is "overweight") is usually just a sign that something's out of balance in your life.
The most typical issues that usually tip the balance in the too-much-bodyfat direction are too much
·Food
·Drink
·Stress
or too little
·Exercise
·Rest
·Love (especially self-love but even love you have for others counts!)
Ever heard the phrase it's not what you're eating it's what's eating you? I'm not a doctor but in my experience everything boils down to that for everyone, no exceptions.
